Erik Dietman wants to blast Mofjellet at Tilrem in Brønnøysund to pieces in order to illustrate the suggestion of the Midgard Serpent and Loke, which someone must have shown him and told him about. The newspapers lampooned the idea, and not only the local population, but even the Swedish national newspapers were indignant over the “vandalism” of encroaching on and transforming nature itself. At one point, Artscape Nordland was discussed behind closed doors by the Brønnøysund presidency, and today Steinar Breiflabb Monkfish lies in the harbour, the result of a collaboration between the artist, the municipality, the county authority and port authority.
